Summit Living podcast are talks and conversation from Norman Grubb, David Heisler, Dee Dee Winter, Linda and John Bunting, Harriett Warren, Fred Pruitt and many others who found freedom as fathers, knowing Christ as their life, and seeing God only in everything. I was invited to this community, in 2006 and found freedom in learning that Christ lives in us, as us when I wanted to know and understand John 17, I am in you and you in me. The reunion ended meeting in person in 2011 but those who attended, are fathers, knowing him from the beginning and continuing to finish the work we have all been given to do, to set the captives free. Chapter 22. The Gift of Misery. This chapter had a profound impact on my relationship with God at a time when I sort to know union that Jesus described in John 17. I was offered the book at the Louisville reunion in September 2007. Like Paul declared in Galatians 1, the reality of my union came by revelation. “Do I have life ‘more abundant’?” That’s a question millions of Christians have asked down through the ages. Dan Stone asked that question during a time of spiritual frustration in his own life and God answered by showing Dan he had been living only a part of the gospel message. Dan’s search led him to discover the truth of “Christ in you” as “the rest of the gospel” that most Christians overlook.
