Friends & Neighbors - Remember the 1940’s book of the same name your mother or grandparent had knocking about in yiur childhood? Yes, well that is what my mother Susan was given by her sister Doreen in 1940 when she crossed the Atlantic Ocean on the Queen Elizabeth Cruise Ship to see her sister in America.

Brian was my neighbor in Dunsheath, Hollinswood, Teflord. He was a semi-retired man who injured his back and turned his hobby into a professional wedding photography business. He taught me to use my first single lens reflex (SLR) camera.

This photo was taken during a family gather mid 1977 probably in Carterton Oxfordshire while Dad, was based at RAF Brize Norton. Treveors wife June and Graham are onthe left side with my brother behind me and my Nannny Helen on the right.

A little trio of joy—Becca with her beautifully zany spirit, a smile that could light a whole town, and a heart as gentle as an angel, alongside Princess and me, just soaking in the love we didn’t know we were waiting for. 💛🐾
